MpowerD Retreats – Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Payments

  • Registration for an MpowerD Retreat is confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit.
  • All participants must make their reservation via the MpowerD website.
  • A £250 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place and confirms that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
  • Full payment must be received no later than two (2) months prior to the retreat start date.
  • Payment plans and instalments may be available by prior agreement on an individual basis.
  • Low-income or concessionary options may be offered at the sole discretion of MpowerD Retreats and are subject to review and approval.

2. Cancellation Policy:

  • If you need to cancel your reservation, please notify us as soon as possible by email.
  • Deposits are non-refundable. However, where possible, MpowerD Retreats will endeavour to transfer your booking to a future retreat (subject to availability and at our discretion).
  • MpowerD Retreats reserves the right to cancel a retreat if the minimum number of participants is not met.
  • In the event of cancellation by MpowerD Retreats, participants will be informed as soon as it becomes clear that the minimum guest requirement cannot be achieved.

3. Health, Safety & Medical Information:

  • Participants are responsible for their own health, safety, and wellbeing during the retreat.
  • We strongly recommend that you inform the MpowerD team in advance of any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or special requirements that may impact your participation.

4. Photography & Marketing

  • Photography and video content captured during MpowerD Retreats, including imagery featuring participants, remains the property of MpowerD Retreats.
  • MpowerD Retreats reserves the right to use, repurpose, and distribute this content for marketing, promotional, and informational purposes across all channels.
  • If you do not wish to be included in marketing materials, you must notify a member of the MpowerD team in writing and in advance of the retreat.

5. Code of Conduct:

  • Participants are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly toward fellow guests, staff, facilitators, and retreat venues at all times.
  • MpowerD Retreats reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is deemed disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate, without refund.

6. Data Protection & GDPR

  • By booking and participating in an MpowerD Retreat, you consent to the collection, processing, and use of your personal data in line with our GDPR compliance obligations.
  • Personal data will not be sold or shared unnecessarily.
  • MpowerD Retreats may engage trusted third-party service providers (such as accommodation or transport partners) to facilitate retreat logistics. These providers are given only the information required to fulfil their services and are required to meet appropriate data protection standards.

7. Force Majeure:

  • In the event of circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, travel disruption, government restrictions, or other force majeure events), MpowerD Retreats reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel a retreat.
  • In such cases, MpowerD Retreats shall not be liable for any losses, damages, or expenses incurred by participants.
